We took our first trip to the mall today. It was quite eventful. Mommy got to change her first diaper in a public restroom and it was a good one. I would have done it but I was in line to buy a cup of genuine Juan Valdez coffee so there was really no way that I could have done it. I was so disappointed! We had a really good night last night. Miss Natalie decided to sleep from 10:00 pm until 6:45 am. Again I was disappointed because I was looking forward to getting our day started much earlier. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. I'll leave you with a couple of pics from this morning. Right now Natalie wants Daddy to lay down and take a nap.

Hi Natalie,
I recognize a couple of outfits from your pictures today. I know Ms. Sheryl is tickled to death at how cute you look in your onesie she made for you. And you looked extremely beautiful in your denim dress we got just for you!
Now remember, don't let this parenting thing be too easy on your mommy and daddy. You can't let them sleep through the night all the time!
As always, you and your mommy and daddy are in my thoughts!
Love,
Christy
Amberly and Tim, God has bestowed such an awesome blessing on you to love and treasure this adorable baby girl, she is SO precious. I know you already do love and treasure her. And to baby Natalie, I'm trying to help keep your Granny Karen occupied until she can meet you. If she could, she'd crawl through the computer screen to get there now. But I know she holds you in her heart until she can hold you in her arms. Thank you so much for sharing this journey with your family and friends. Give that baby a big hug and kiss for me.
Love, Cheryl
Tim, I knew that when you left I had done my best to teach you all of the "important" lessons. Today is proof that those lessons have taken hold!
Lesson One was "he who smells it (and who plays their cards correctly) does not necessarily have to change it." Good work buddy!
Jackson wants to know when Natalie can go on a date (if you'll let her go out with a guy 8 months her senior) Don't worry....Clarke boys are VERY trustworthy.
Can't wait for you guys to all be home and for Natalie to be in her house and in her room! We love you guys.

Tim- I can,t believe you got out of diaper duty using coffee as an excuse. Are you even old enough to be drinking that stuff? Don,t let him get away with that Amberly! I must say that little miss Natalie is a real cutie. I can,t wait for the shower so we can see her in person. LOTS OF LOVE TO YOU ALL!!! Stephanie B

First off, I finally figured this blog out so I can post in the correct place.
Second, please have Juan's donkey sign a hat or something for me...I love souvenirs.
Last and most importantly, I'm glad everything is going so well. I'm very happy for y'all and can't wait to start spoiling her...Brett
Natalie is absolutely beautiful. We are soooo happy for the both of you. You have been so blessed.
We can't wait to see y'all! Oh! by the way...how old will she have to be before she can hang out with the DOTHARD kids? Whoa! Make sure you think long and hard. Just kidding...really! We love you! You are still in our prayers!
What a Beautiful Angel... I am so excited for you two.
natalie- Welcome. We are so glad you choose your Mom and Dad. They have waited and waited for you. Your sweet face will bring much joy into their world.
LOVE YOU ALL.... Jerirose
nice, Tim!.....:)
I don't know if it's possible, but I think she gets cuter with every picture! Tim, you'll have the opportunity to change a poopie before you know it -- and unless Juan Valdez shows up in person, you may have to step up to the plate (or the changing table.)
Ava loves looking at the blog, and she can't wait to meet her new cousin in-person. In fact, everything out of her mouth lately has begun with, "show Natalie."
The missionaries I mentioned to you before your trip are Marc and Lisa Bewley with the United Church of Bogata (supposedly the only English-speaking church in the city.) He is the pastor and she teaches. She is the one that sang with me in Chorale this past summer while home on furlow. I tried to get the phone number from Lisa's sister, but she only has an international number. She said that you should call the church to find out the worship schedule, etc. I know Lisa would love to see or hear from you. She was very excited when I told her about about you this past summer.
We can't wait for the three of you to come home. I guess you don't have any better idea of a time-line yet. Here's to hoping it's sooner rather than later!!!!
We love the three of you!
