Hola,
Today we did a little sightseeing. It was a lot of fun and very interesting. First we visited Monserrate, which is one of the peaks in the mountain range to the east of the city. At the top is an old Catholic church with stone paths beautiful landscaping and views of all of Bogota. After that we traveled to the old town square. It had the narrow streets like you see on t.v. and the original government buildings along with another huge church. Right around the corner was the presidential palace, I forgot to call ahead so we didn't go in for a visit. I did however find the great Juan Valdez. He was dressed up real fancy so I didn't bother him for an autograph. It was obviously his day off. That pretty much sums up today's activities. Hope everyone has a nice day.
