Yesterday, we celebrated the anniversary of the first day we met Natalie. Can you believe how quickly she is growing up? Too fast! We celebrated the day by showering Natalie with affection (not too much different than every other day), thanking God for the blessing of this sweet little girl and having a traditional Colombian dish. I tried to make Ajiaco which is a chicken, corn and potato soup. It turned out okay but not nearly as good as Juanita's. Juanita was the wonderful lady who cooked for us at Hotel Paris. Maybe if we get to go back to Colombia one day I can get some tips from her.

Natalie is absolutely beautiful, just as her grandmother (whom I met in the hospital where she was giving me such wonderful care) told me. I can see why she's the apple of her grandmother's eye.
