Natalie started K-4 last week at a local Christian school. It is hard to believe that our baby is officially in school. I seems a little odd for me to be sad about this transition since she was going to daycare 4-5 days per week anyway but there is something different about school. I am so glad that I have had a pretty flexible schedule for a working mom and have completely enjoyed the preschool years. It is a bittersweet but also very exciting time as we transition from preschool to school age. Natalie was pretty excited about her new school since some of her favorite friends attend the same school. It amazes me how much more outgoing and confident she has become. She was definitely a little nervous (even more chatter than normal) but she went in bravely and seemed to enjoy the first day. Unfortunately, she woke up on the second day of school with a stomach bug. So, we lost our perfect attendance on day 2 : ( Oh well, back to school this morning. On the way, Natalie told me she could wait to see Miss White and Miss Rushton because they are SO nice...love to hear this!
