We have been doing a little remodeling of our home in hopes of adding room for a second child one day. The construction has made our home a state of confusion for a while but we are getting back to normal now. One of the pluses of the construction was that we were forced to leave our house for a long weekend while they worked on our tile. So, we spent Labor Day weekend (which also happened to be our 10 year wedding anniversary) at the beach. Unfortunately, this was the weekend that we got some bad weather from one of the hurricanes. We were able to enjoy the pools for a little while before the weather got so bad that they had to close them. Here are a few pictures from that day. Natalie loved the fountains!

Almost Two!
Hi everyone! Can you believe our little girl is almost two years old?! Natalie has hit a growth spurt recently outgrowing her shoes and turning her dresses into mini skirts. She is talking up a storm. She can repeat anything you ask her to and is always asking "what's that?". My name is no longer "Mommy" and is now "Mama". It sounds so grown up! Her latest obsession is Clifford the Big Red Dog. She is becoming quite the little lady. Natalie has really started playing with her dolls lately. She rocks them and reads to them. It is so sweet! Here she is with a few of her favorites.
