I have one big complaint about Natalie....she is growing up TOO fast! We are enjoying her big, vivacious two year old personality. She is learning new things everyday and asserting her independence all the time. I am afraid that I am going to forget the adorable things she says. So, they will not be nearly as cute to read but for my documentation purposes I want to include them here on the blog.
Sometimes, Natalie calls me back to her bed at night or nap time, hands me her blankie and says, "Cover up me".
While she has not quite mastered the southern definition of respect (yes ma'am & no sir), Natalie is pretty thankful for a 2 year old. Every day she sweetly says, "Thank you, Mommy" when I do something for her or give her something. She even says "No, thanks" if she doesn't want it. (That is when she is not asserting the two-year old independence I mentioned earlier. Then she just screams, "Noooooo".)
Lately, just about every time you ask Natalie to do something she has the same response. "Natalie, do you want to brush your teeth?.......Not today!" "Natalie, do you want to learn to use the potty?.....Not today!" etc.
Apparently, I use a certain phrase a little bit because now when Natalie drops something, she says, "Oh my goodness!" I guess it could be worse :)
When we get ready to leave the house, Natalie finds Calvin and says, "I need a kiss and a huggie."
And she gives the best hugs!
Natalie loved playing with her big cousin Morgan.
Just hanging with her puppy.

I may be a little bit partial but I think that is the sweetest blog entry I've read in quite awhile, And the pictures are precious. You won't forget the cute things she says. I still remember your cute sayings when you were her age,
