A Trip to what Daddy calls "God's Country"

This past weekend we went to Dothan to visit Tim's family. We were able to attend our nephews football game on Friday night. So, hard to believe they are 16 years old and playing varsity football. It was just yesterday that they were 5 years old handing out programs at our wedding in their adorable little suits. Natalie had a great time watching the game....well, really she was watching the cheerleaders. She loved them! On Saturday, we went to Troy for some more football. We had a great time catching up with some college friends. On Sunday, we were able to go to Tim's home church and enjoy a family lunch before heading home. Here are a few pictures from our weekend.

On the way to Dothan, we passed this really pretty field of flowers. My sweet husband was patient enough to pull over on the side of the road so that I could take a few shots with my new camera.

Natalie had a great time at the Troy football game. She told me that her favorite part was the drums in the band because they were noisy. We were lucky enough to sit in the our friends' suite. So, Natalie enjoyed unlimited attention from our friends, a large supply of treats like cookies and ice cream and stairs to climb. What more could a two year old need?

Here is the result of all that fun.........she was exhausted. So sweet!

I was able to talk my nieces and nephews into posing for a group shot after lunch on Sunday. What a good looking group!
