One year ago....

One year ago, our lives changed forever when the phone rang and we heard the words, "You have a daughter". This month we celebrate Natalie's 15 month birthday, referral day and our "Gotcha Day". It is hard to believe that a whole year has passed. Natalie is growing up very quickly. She weighs almost 22 lbs and is 30 inches tall. She now runs pretty much everywhere she goes and babbles all the time. It seems like she learns a new word everyday. Lately, her favorite words are "peaches" and "apples". She is enjoying playing with all her Christmas presents. She loves to be outside playing on her slide or riding in her wagon. She still loves to go see the horses behind our house everyday (at least once a day). When we are in a store she can spot a horse a mile a way! Natalie also stays pretty busy chasing Calvin around the house. The poor dog has a tough time getting any peace.
Here are some pictures from the last few weeks. I got a new camera for Christmas. So, there are quite a few pictures.

You might not be able to tell but Natalie is blowing a kiss in this picture.

Isn't that the sweetest face you ever saw?!

This was a moment I just had to capture. She is sitting on her "bucket". (It is actually something I received a Christmas present in but Natalie claimed it as a stool!) She was still in her pajamas with her crazy morning hair when she sat down on her "stool" to play me a song!

I have read your blog since you started it, and I must say that it is one of the most amazing things about the internet. I am so happy for you and I felt like I should leave you a message.

You are so blessed and your little girl is the cutest thing ever! My kids are older now and I miss that age when everything is magical and when hugs and cuddles were a daily part of life.

Thanks for sharing your story, it is amazing and so interesting, and very inspirational.

God Bless and Best Wishes!
